Body Transformation
A coached twelve-week training and nutrition block built around a City working week, with the session timing, the travel and the reporting calendar treated as the constraints they actually are.
The short answer
What this is
The City of London holds 614,500 workers and 8,600 residents. Almost nobody who trains in the Square Mile sleeps in it, and that single ratio governs everything about how a transformation block has to be built here. The training has to fit either side of a working day that starts on a train and ends when a call from another timezone finishes.
Most programmes are written for a week nobody in the City has. They assume four fixed evenings, cooking at home, and no travel. Twelve weeks later the plan has been abandoned somewhere around the second results season, and the conclusion drawn is that the person lacked discipline rather than that the plan was never survivable. This page sets out what a block actually asks of you, and where a City week breaks it.

How it works
What to expect
Getting started
Bring clothing you can lift in and flat-soled shoes. Before the first session, write down any current or past injury, anything you take regularly, and how your week genuinely runs, including the travel and the evenings you cannot control. The assessment is only useful if it maps the real week rather than an ideal one.
During your sessions
After your sessions
Every session ends with what to log and what to watch before the next one. Progress is reviewed on a fixed cadence across the block rather than chased week to week, and training load, protein and sleep are read together whenever the numbers stop moving. A block closes with a decision about what happens next rather than an automatic renewal.
FAQ
Common
questions
How long is a body transformation block?
Twelve weeks is the standard length. It is long enough for a genuine change in body composition and short enough to plan around a quarter of work. Shorter blocks tend to measure water and glycogen rather than anything lasting, and longer ones lose the deadline that makes the first version work.
Is twelve weeks enough if I have never lifted?
It is the best twelve weeks you will ever get, as it happens. Somebody new to structured training adds strength faster in a first block than they ever will again, and much of that early change is learning the movements. What twelve weeks will not do is finish the job. It gets you competent and it moves the measurements.
Can I train before work in the City?
Yes. UNTIL Liverpool Street opens at 06:00 Monday to Friday, which is what makes a session before a City working day realistic rather than theoretical. The 06:00 to 08:00 window is also the most protected time in most City calendars, because very little else gets scheduled into it.
What does a training week actually look like?
Two or three coached sessions of roughly an hour, placed either side of the working day, plus one or two short sessions you run yourself. Eating is set as an energy range and a protein floor rather than a menu, because lunch is bought and dinner is often a restaurant. The week is adjusted at each review.
What happens to my block when I travel for work?
It changes shape rather than stopping. A travel week runs on a shorter list of movements any hotel gym can cover, fewer sessions, and an eating approach built for restaurants. It is agreed before you go. Travel is the most common reason a City block stalls and the most straightforward to plan for.
How much does a body transformation cost?
Body Transformation City of London sets no prices and delivers no coaching, so any figure here would be invented. Rates are set by the individual coach and quoted after an assessment. Ask whether a quote covers the full block or a session, what the review points are, and what happens if you need to pause.
How many coached sessions a week fits a City calendar?
Two to three coached sessions a week is the usual shape, with agreed work between them. More than three rarely survives a City calendar for twelve consecutive weeks, and a plan that collapses in week five delivers less than a lighter plan that runs the whole course.
Is DEXA scanning available at UNTIL Liverpool Street?
No. UNTIL holds no DEXA scanner, and Body Transformation City of London will not imply access to equipment that does not exist. Progress is tracked with a consistent method applied the same way each time, read as a trend across the block rather than as a single reading on a single morning.
What happens when the twelve weeks are up?
The closing measurements go against the baseline and you decide one of three things with your coach: a second block at a different target, a maintenance phase that holds what you built, or a written plan you run on your own. That conversation happens before the final session, so the decision is not made by default.
Why are there no before and after photographs here?
Because no client has consented to have their photograph published on this site. Consent for a body image is never something to assume, and borrowing results from another gym would misrepresent what your own twelve weeks are likely to produce. The pages describe what changes and over what timeline instead.
Do I need to be a club member to train with Body Transformation City of London?
Access is arranged as part of setting up the block, before your first session, because UNTIL Liverpool Street is a private members club rather than a public gym. How you get in depends on the arrangement your coach has in place, and it is confirmed up front rather than on the day.
Who coaches the block if I enquire through Body Transformation City of London?
An independent coach working from UNTIL Liverpool Street, matched to the hours you can protect and to what you are trying to change. Body Transformation City of London takes no payment for the introduction and sets none of the rates. Ask the coach for their qualification, their insurance and their CIMSPA entry, and check the last of those yourself.
