About

About Body Transformation City of London

An independent guide to coached transformation blocks in the Square Mile, owned by the UNTIL group, written for a working week that almost nobody here fully controls.

What the Square Mile does to a training week

The City of London is a place with a working pattern rather than a residential one, and that pattern is the whole subject here. Around 614,500 people work in the Square Mile against 8,600 who live in it, which means the training question in this district is almost never about equipment or programming. It is about when a session can realistically happen, what a reporting calendar does to a twelve-week block, and how eating survives a fortnight of client dinners. Those questions get answered badly by plans written for somebody who lives near their gym.

Who owns this and where an enquiry goes

Body Transformation City of London is owned and operated by the UNTIL group, which runs private health and fitness clubs across central London and works with independent practitioners who hold clinic inside them. That commercial relationship is disclosed in the footer of every page. An enquiry goes to UNTIL Health Concierge, who arrange an assessment with an independent coach, and no payment passes per enquiry. There are no coach biographies and no client photographs here, because no coach has agreed to appear on a domain they do not own and this site has no clients of its own to ask.

What twelve weeks asks of you

The sessions are the easy part. Two or three coached hours a week is a small claim on a City diary, and almost everybody manages them. What twelve weeks really asks for is the eating on the days work is worst, and an honest log of what you actually did rather than what you meant to do. It also asks you to accept a fixed review instead of a daily verdict, because a weight taken on one morning is noise and anyone reading it as a result will spend the quarter chasing water. Progress gets read at agreed points, with training, food and sleep looked at together. And it asks for a decision at the end. A block has an end date so that somebody has to sit down and say whether it worked, what it cost in hours, and whether the next quarter should look the same.

Tell us how your week actually runs.
We arrange the assessment from there.
